Notre Dame engineering acceptance rate?

Hey folks! I'm a junior and I've been looking into Notre Dame's engineering program. I was wondering if any of you guys know the acceptance rate for their engineering school or how competitive it is? Thanks for your help!

Hello! The acceptance rate at the University of Notre Dame as a whole is around 13-15%. However, specific acceptance rates for individual colleges, such as their College of Engineering, are not typically published. That being said, their engineering program is known for being competitive, so expect it to be at least as selective as the University's overall acceptance rate, if not more so.

To increase your chances of admission to Notre Dame's engineering program, it's essential to maintain a strong GPA in rigorous courses (including AP and/or IB classes) and to be involved in relevant extracurricular activities, particularly those showcasing your passion for engineering and related fields.

Keep in mind that Notre Dame also values applicants who demonstrate strong leadership, commitment to service, and potential to contribute significantly to the campus community. Make sure your application and essays reflect these characteristics as well. I hope this information helps, and best of luck with your college application process!
