Recovering SAT scores from previous administrations

I hope y'all can help me out - I took the SAT a while ago and didn't send the scores, thinking I'd retake it. Now I can't retake it and need to find those scores. Is there a way to recover them or see the scores from previous administrations?

Absolutely, you can get your previous SAT scores. To access scores from past test administrations, follow these steps:

1. Go to the College Board website (collegeboard.org) and log in to your account. If you've forgotten your username or password, follow their instructions to reset them.

2. Once logged in, navigate to the SAT section of the website.

3. Look for a section called "My Test Scores" or something similar. You should see a list of your SAT test dates and score reports.

4. Click on the specific test date you're interested in to view the scores for that administration.

Please note that if your test date was more than a few years ago, the scores might not be available online, and you'll have to contact College Board directly. Also, keep in mind that some colleges require official score reports sent directly from the College Board, so you might have to request that they send the scores to the institutions.

As a side tip, since you mentioned not being able to retake the SAT, consider creating a balanced college list that includes both test-optional and test-requiring schools, so you have options regardless of your test scores. Good luck!
