UW-Madison SAT scores for admissions?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about applying to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Does anyone know the general range of SAT scores they're looking for? Thanks in advance!

Hey there! The University of Wisconsin-Madison doesn't publish an official SAT score range, but based on prior years' admissions data, the middle 50% of admitted students typically have an SAT score between 1350 and 1510. This means that 25% of admitted students score below 1350 and 25% score above 1510.

Keep in mind that UW-Madison has a holistic admissions process, which means they consider various factors like your GPA, course rigor, extracurricular activities, and essays when making their decision. So, while a strong SAT score can be an asset, it's not the sole determining factor for getting admitted. Showcasing your strengths in other areas can help to compensate if your SAT score is slightly below the middle 50%.

Best of luck with your application!
