N.U.in Acceptance Rate at Northeastern

Does anyone have any information about the acceptance rate for the N.U.in program at Northeastern? I've heard it's a unique first-year experience but not sure how competitive it is to get in. Any data would be appreciated!

The N.U.in Program at Northeastern University is an opportunity for first-year students to spend their fall semester abroad before transitioning to the Boston campus in the spring semester. The program is designed to give students a more global perspective before arriving on campus, and students can choose from various locations to ensure they're able to explore their particular interests.

However, it's important to note that you cannot directly apply for the N.U.in Program—admitted students are selected by the university based on their application materials. Since there isn't a separate application process, it's difficult to pinpoint an acceptance rate, as there's no way of knowing how many students Northeastern is even considering for the program in the first place. It should be noted, though, that Northeastern University's overall acceptance rate has become increasingly competitive in recent years, and currently sits around 7%.

While it's not possible to provide a specific acceptance rate for the N.U.in program, you can assume that gaining admission will be competitive since Northeastern's admission process has become more selective in general. To improve your chances, focus on maintaining a strong academic profile with excellent grades, scores, and extracurricular activities. Similarly, make sure to submit a compelling application that highlights your unique qualities and interests, as well as your passion for global learning and experiences, to show the admissions committee that you would thrive in a unique program like N.U.in.

Best of luck with your application, and remember, even if you aren't offered a spot in the N.U.in program, you'll still have opportunities to go abroad throughout your time in college, whether at Northeastern or another institution!
