How can I demonstrate interest in a college without visiting the campus?

Hi everyone! Due to the pandemic, I haven't been able to visit any college campuses. I want to show my interest in certain schools, but I'm not sure how to do that without visiting. Any advice on how to demonstrate interest in other ways? Thanks a bunch!

Hi there! I completely understand your situation - it's been challenging for students to demonstrate their interest in colleges without being able to visit the campuses. But don't worry, there are still plenty of ways you can show your enthusiasm for a school! First, I'd suggest signing up for virtual events, such as online info sessions, virtual tours, and webinars hosted by the college. Attending these events will not only give you valuable information about the school, but it'll also show that you're proactive and genuinely interested. Don't forget to ask thoughtful questions during these sessions, as that can make a positive impression. Another way to demonstrate interest is by connecting with current students or alumni. Many colleges have online platforms or social media groups where you can reach out to people who've attended the school. This will give you an insider's perspective and also show that you're eager to learn more about the college community. Lastly, when you're writing your application essays, make sure to mention specific aspects of the college that you find appealing, such as unique programs, clubs, or campus culture. This will help convey your genuine interest in attending the school. Good luck!
