Does time fly during college?

So I've heard from a lot of older friends that college goes by really fast, and I'm curious to hear other perspectives about it. Does time feel like it's flying by when you're in college, or is it just a saying? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Hey! Time perception is subjective, and it can vary from individual to individual. Most people say that college goes by quickly because the four years are packed with new experiences, friendships, and knowledge. College life also has its share of challenges, like managing course load, securing internships, and balancing extracurricular activities, which demand a lot of time and energy, leading to the feeling that time passes by quickly.

In addition, the academic calendar in college is quite different from high school, as there are fewer, more intense semesters, each with exams and breaks in between. The semesters can seem to go by rapidly when you're engaged in various activities and focusing on your studies. It's important to make the most of your time in college – pursue your interests, make connections, and create lasting memories.

Remember, though, that everyone's experience is unique, and your perception of time may be different from that of your friends. Some may feel that college goes by quickly while others may feel it's just right. Time management and perspective can play a big part in how you perceive time passing during college.
