Should I submit my SAT/ACT scores if they're optional?

Hey guys, many colleges are making SAT/ACT scores optional this year. Should I still submit my scores if they're not required? I'm not sure if my scores will help or hurt my chances. Thanks for any advice!

Hello! It's great to see that you're considering your options when it comes to submitting SAT/ACT scores. In the current situation, many colleges have indeed made test scores optional. The decision to submit your scores ultimately depends on how well you think they represent your academic abilities and potential. If you believe your scores are strong and can enhance your application, it may be a good idea to submit them. On the other hand, if your scores are not as high as you would have liked and you think they might not accurately reflect your abilities, it might be best to focus on other areas of your application, such as your grades, extracurricular activities, and essays. Remember, colleges are looking for well-rounded applicants, and your test scores are just one piece of the puzzle. Regardless of your decision, make sure that the rest of your application highlights your strengths and accomplishments. Good luck!
