UCLA campus size?

Hey everyone, I was researching UCLA and was curious about the size of their campus. Can anyone who's visited or been there let me know if it's compact, spread out, or something else? Also, what's the overall vibe of the campus? Thanks in advance!

UCLA's campus is approximately 419 acres, which is relatively large for an urban school. The campus is not extremely compact, but it's not too spread out either. Most buildings and facilities are within reasonable walking distance from each other. The campus layout is designed with green spaces, like the Sculpture Garden and the Intramural Playing Field, that create a balance between the urban setting and natural environment.

As for the overall vibe of the campus, UCLA has a lively atmosphere that combines the energy of a major research university with the more laid-back attitude of Southern California. The campus is surrounded by the Westwood neighborhood, which has a variety of shops, restaurants, and movie theaters, giving students plenty to do when they're not in class.

On campus, you can also find a lot of student activities, clubs, and sporting events happening throughout the year. Overall, it's a vibrant and exciting place to be, with a strong sense of community among the students, faculty, and staff.

Make sure to also consider UCLA’s academic programs, extracurricular offerings, and so on when deciding whether or not to apply.
