Is UCLA Test Optional?

Hey folks, I was wondering if UCLA is test optional for the upcoming admissions cycle. My SAT scores aren't the best, and I would like to focus on other aspects of my application if possible. Any info would be appreciated!

Even better, UCLA is test-blind, which means that they will not consider standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) in their admissions process, even if you submit them. This decision has been put in place for all the schools within the University of California (UC) system.

Since UCLA will not be looking at your test scores, it's essential to focus on other aspects of your application, such as your GPA, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation, as these areas will be getting more attention since admissions officers don't need to evaluate your standardized test scores. Make sure your application highlights your strengths and achievements, as well as demonstrates a clear passion for your chosen field of study. Best of luck with your application to UCLA!
