Colleges with free application fees?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to save some money during the college application process. Does anyone have a list of colleges that don't charge an application fee or offer fee waivers? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello! Kudos to you for being financially savvy during the college application process. Many colleges and universities offer free applications or fee waivers. Here's a list of some colleges with free application fees:

1. Carleton College

2. Colby College

3. Grinnell College

4. Kenyon College

5. Oberlin College

6. Reed College

7. Smith College

8. United States Military Academies (Army, Navy, Air Force)

Keep in mind, this is just a short list and there are many more schools with free application fees out there! Additionally, even if a college does have an application fee, you might be eligible for a fee waiver. Fee waivers are usually granted based on financial need. To apply for a fee waiver, you can either reach out to the college admissions office directly or use the fee waiver request option that is available when you fill out the Common Application, the Coalition Application, or other application platforms. They usually require some information about your financial circumstances, such as qualifying for free/reduced meals at school or being eligible for SAT/ACT fee waivers.

I hope this helps in your college search, and good luck with the application process!
