What is the acceptance rate for deferred applicants at the University of Chicago?

I've been browsing the internet and I can't seem to find the deferred acceptance rate for UChicago. Does anyone happen to know what the rate is like for those initially deferred and then accepted? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, universities often do not release specific acceptance rates for deferred applicants. The deferred acceptance rate can also vary from year to year, making it difficult to pinpoint an exact percentage. However, being deferred is not the end of the road for your application. Deferred applicants have a chance to submit updated information, essays, and letters of recommendation through the regular decision process, which may help improve their chances of being admitted.

While it's important to remain optimistic, do know that being accepted after being deferred from Early Action or Early Decision is generally less likely than receiving an outright acceptance from the start due to the competitive nature of regular decision pools. With that in mind, continue to complete and submit strong applications to other colleges on your list, and if UChicago remains your top choice, make sure to express your continued interest and any updates on your accomplishments to the admissions office.

Good luck and stay positive! Remember that college admissions can be unpredictable, and all you can do is put forth your best effort.
