Diversity at CU Boulder

I've been looking into CU Boulder and I'm kind of curious about how diverse it is. Current students or recent grads, could you share some insights on the campus environment and the diversity there?

Sure! CU Boulder is known for its beautiful campus and friendly atmosphere. In terms of diversity, CU Boulder has been making efforts to increase the representation of students from varied backgrounds.

As of Fall 2023, the enrollment data shows that around 68% of undergraduates are white, 13% are Hispanic/Latino, 6% are Asian, 2% are Black, and the remaining percentages make up other ethnicities or did not report their race/ethnicity.

While the campus is predominantly white, CU Boulder has dedicated resources and organizations to support multicultural students, such as the Cultural Unity & Engagement Center. This center aims to support and foster a diverse, inclusive community by providing academic and social support programs for underrepresented students. There are also many student clubs focused on diversity, like the Black Student Alliance, International Student Association, and Latino Student Alliance.

Inclusiveness and diversity are important aspects for CU Boulder, and the university continues to work on expanding its efforts in these areas. However, it's worth mentioning that some students might not find the college as diverse as they would like. It's important to visit the campus, if possible, to get a sense of the atmosphere and explore the resources available for students from different backgrounds.

Overall, CU Boulder is making strides to increase diversity and create an inclusive environment for students of all backgrounds, but it may not be the most diverse campus compared to some other universities.
