Anyone here know if Washburn University is a D1 school? I'm really into college sports and want to make sure I'm attending a school with strong athletics. Thanks for your help!
Washburn University is actually an NCAA Division II school, not Division I. The athletic teams at Washburn, known as the Ichabods, compete in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA). Although it's not a D1 program, Washburn University still has a strong athletics department that offers a variety of sports, including basketball, football, baseball, soccer, track and field, and more.
