West Virginia University location?

Hey everyone, I'm looking at West Virginia University as a possible college choice, but I'm not really sure where it's located. Can someone help me out with the city and state it's in, and maybe a little bit about the campus environment?

West Virginia University (WVU) is located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Morgantown is situated in the northern part of the state, close to the Pennsylvania border. It has a picturesque setting with the Monongahela River running through the city.

The campus itself is divided into three main areas: Downtown Campus, Evansdale Campus, and Health Sciences Campus. These areas are connected by the Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system and bus service, making it convenient for students to travel between them. The Downtown Campus, as its name suggests, is located in the heart of the city, while the Evansdale Campus is situated more toward the outskirts, offering a mix of academic, residential, and recreational facilities.

Morgantown is a college town with a vibrant atmosphere, and WVU plays a central role in the community. The city has a variety of restaurants, shops, and events catering to both students and locals. The surrounding area offers plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities such as hiking, biking, and water sports, with the nearby mountains and rivers adding to the scenic beauty of the region. Overall, the campus and surrounding area provide a lively and welcoming environment for students attending West Virginia University.
