Division 1 sports at Kansas Wesleyan University?

What's up everyone? I'm a high school athlete and I'm considering Kansas Wesleyan University. Does anyone know if they're a division 1 school, or what kind of sports opportunities they offer?

Hey there! Kansas Wesleyan University is not a Division 1 school. Rather, it is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and competes in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). The NAIA is separate from the NCAA but still provides a high level of competition and plenty of opportunities for student-athletes to compete.

Kansas Wesleyan offers a variety of sports for both men and women. For men, you can find offerings like baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track & field, and wrestling. For women, there are basketball, bowling, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field, and volleyball, among others. The university also has a coed esports program and competitive dance and cheer teams which are also coed. If you're interested in any of these sports, Kansas Wesleyan could be a great option for you.

Remember that even though they're not a Division 1 school, you can still benefit from a competitive athletic experience while at a smaller university. Additionally, NAIA schools often provide more opportunities for playing time, as they may have less depth in their rosters compared to larger programs. Finally, don't forget to consider factors like academics, campus life, and financial aid in your decision-making process, to ensure you end up at a school where you're thrive personally and academically, as well as athletically.

Good luck with your college search and future athletic endeavors!
