Hi everyone! I'm a junior in high school, and I'm passionate about playing soccer in college. I think Division III schools might be a good fit for me. Can you guys recommend any good D3 soccer colleges? Thanks so much!

Hello! It's great that you're passionate about playing soccer in college. While there are many excellent Division III soccer programs to choose from, I'm going to recommend a few notable schools to help you get started with your search. Keep in mind that finding a college that fits your academic and personal interests is just as important as finding a strong soccer program.

1. Messiah College (Grantham, PA): Messiah College is well known for its competitive men's and women's soccer teams. The teams have a history of success, each having won multiple national championships.

2. Amherst College (Amherst, MA): Amherst is an academically prestigious liberal arts college with an impressive men's and women's soccer program. The soccer teams have strong records and compete in the competitive NESCAC conference.

3. Williams College (Williamstown, MA): Another top-tier liberal arts college, Williams College offers outstanding academics and a solid men's and women's soccer program. Like Amherst, Williams competes in the NESCAC conference.

4. University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN): The University of St. Thomas is a private university with strong soccer programs for men and women. Both teams consistently perform well in their conference and have seen post-season play.

5. Tufts University (Medford, MA): Also part of the NESCAC, Tufts has successful men's and women's soccer teams. In addition to their soccer achievements, Tufts is known for its excellent academics and well-regarded programs in various disciplines.

This list is by no means exhaustive, but it should give you a starting point in your search. You might also want to explore your regional options, as many smaller colleges have strong local soccer reputations. Additionally, consider reaching out to college coaches, attending soccer camps or showcases, and talking to current D3 soccer student-athletes to get a better sense of each program's culture and opportunities. Good luck in your search!
