ttu Location: Campus Vibes and Surroundings?

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about applying to Texas Tech University (TTU) and was wondering what the location is like. What's the campus vibe and how are the surroundings? Are there fun activities and attractions nearby that you guys know of or have experienced? Thanks!
