How to prepare for college interviews?

Hey fellow juniors! I've heard that some colleges require interviews as part of the admissions process, and I'm honestly terrified. What can I do to prepare for these interviews, and what kind of questions should I expect? Any advice would be amazing. Thank you!

Hey there! I completely understand that college interviews can be nerve-wracking, but there are a few things you can do to prepare yourself. First, make sure you research the college and its programs so you can show genuine interest and knowledge about the institution. Also, practice answering common interview questions like 'Why do you want to attend this college?' or 'What are your strengths and weaknesses?' You can also prepare some thoughtful questions to ask the interviewer about the college or their experiences. Remember, interviews are a two-way street – they want to learn about you, and you should want to learn about them too. Finally, just relax and be yourself. They want to see the real you, not a scripted version. My child had a few interviews last year, and they found that being genuine and having a conversation with the interviewer made the experience much more enjoyable. Good luck!
