Fresno State Population

Hey everyone, I've been considering Fresno State as one of my college options. What's the student population like there? Is the campus diverse and lively, or is it more of a commuter school with less campus life?

Hello! Fresno State, officially known as California State University, Fresno, has a diverse and active campus community. The university has a total enrollment of over 20,000 students, with a mix of undergraduate and graduate students. Many students are from various ethnic backgrounds, making the campus quite diverse. The majority of the population is Hispanic, followed by White, Asian, and African American students, among others.

Although a decent number of students do commute, campus life is active and engaging. There are more than 300 student clubs and organizations you can join, which cater to a variety of interests. In addition to clubs, Fresno State has vibrant Greek life, athletics, and various on-campus events throughout the year that foster a sense of community.

Fresno State also offers housing options for students who want to live on campus. Living on campus can enhance your college experience, as it allows you to be more immersed in campus life and form connections with fellow students.

While Fresno State does have commuter students, the campus life is vibrant and offers plenty of opportunities for students to get involved and develop a sense of belonging. If you're considering Fresno State, it's a good idea to visit the campus to get a feel of the atmosphere and see if it's the right fit for you. Good luck!
