How to choose a major for college applications?

Hello everyone! I'm not sure what I want to major in yet, but I know that some college applications ask for your intended major. How should I go about choosing one, and will it affect my chances of getting in? Thanks for any help!

Hi there! Choosing a major can be a bit overwhelming, but that's totally normal. Start by thinking about your interests, passions, and strengths. Are there any subjects that you enjoy studying or have a natural talent for? It's also a good idea to research potential careers related to your interests and see if any of those appeal to you. When it comes to college applications, some schools may consider your intended major, but it's important to remember that you can change your major once you're in college. So, don't stress too much about locking yourself into a specific path at this point. You'll have plenty of time to explore your options and find the right fit once you start your college journey. Just be honest about your interests, and remember that demonstrating a genuine passion for a particular subject can be an asset during the admissions process. Good luck!
