Is it okay to reach out to current students at colleges I'm interested in?

Hey everyone! I'm a junior and I'm researching colleges I'd like to apply to. I'm considering reaching out to current students at these colleges to get their perspective, but I'm not sure if that's appropriate. What do you think? Thanks for any input!

Hi there! It's totally fine to reach out to current students at colleges you're interested in. In fact, it can be a great way to get an honest opinion about the school and its culture. Most students are happy to share their experiences and offer advice to prospective students like you. You can usually find their contact information through the college's website, social media groups, or even through your own network of friends and acquaintances. Just remember to be polite and respectful when reaching out, and don't be discouraged if some students don't respond - they may be busy or have other reasons for not replying. Overall, talking to current students can be an invaluable resource in your college search, so don't hesitate to reach out!
