Which Division 2 colleges have great lacrosse teams?

Hey everyone, I'm seriously into lacrosse and I'm starting to look at colleges. I'd love to continue playing at a Division 2 level. Does anyone have suggestions on which D2 colleges have solid lacrosse programs? Thanks in advance for any help!

Some well-regarded Division 2 colleges with strong lacrosse programs include:

1. Adelphi University (Garden City, NY): Adelphi has an impressive history in men's lacrosse, having won multiple NCAA Division 2 championships in recent years. They also have a competitive women's lacrosse team that has consistently performed well in the Northeast-10 Conference.

2. Le Moyne College (Syracuse, NY): Le Moyne is another top contender in NCAA Division 2 lacrosse, with both the men's and women's teams having won multiple championships since the early 2000s. They compete in the Northeast-10 Conference as well.

3. Limestone University (Gaffney, SC): Limestone has a tradition of excellence in men's and women's lacrosse. They have won multiple national championships in men's lacrosse and consistently compete in the South Atlantic Conference.

4. University of Tampa (Tampa, FL): The University of Tampa has a strong men's lacrosse program, having earned several Sunshine State Conference championships and NCAA tournament appearances since the team's debut in 2012. Their women's lacrosse team, formed in 2013, has also grown into a competitive program in the conference.

5. Mercyhurst University (Erie, PA): Mercyhurst's men's and women's lacrosse teams frequently compete in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and have found success in their respective conferences.

Keep in mind that finding the right college fit should also include factors beyond lacrosse, such as academics, location, and campus culture. You can explore these colleges' websites and reach out to their coaching staff to gain more insight into their programs and what it's like to be a student-athlete there. Good luck in your college search and future lacrosse endeavors!
