EOU online experiences?

I'm considering taking some courses through Eastern Oregon University's online programs. Has anyone taken EOU online classes? What's the overall experience like and how was the quality of the education you received?

I've heard from several students who have taken EOU's online courses, and their experiences have been quite positive. These aspects were commonly mentioned:

1. Flexibility: Online courses at EOU offer flexibility for students who have work commitments, family responsibilities, or other constraints. You can usually complete coursework at your own pace within the specified deadlines, which is a huge benefit for many students.

2. Course variety: EOU offers a wide range of online courses and degree programs. This allows students to pursue their interests and customize their educational path based on their goals.

3. Instructor support: Many students highlighted that the instructors were accessible and provided timely feedback on assignments. Although online classes can feel impersonal, EOU instructors generally seem to be dedicated to helping students succeed.

4. Interface and content: The online platform is reportedly user-friendly, with course materials and resources readily available. Most students found the quality of the education to be on par with what they would expect from traditional in-person courses.

5. Interaction with peers: Some online courses at EOU encourage group discussions and collaboration with classmates, which foster a sense of community and help build networks, even in an online environment.

However, keep in mind that online education may not be a perfect fit for everyone. If you prefer face-to-face interaction, in-person classes might be a better option for you. It's also important to note that online courses require self-discipline and a strong work ethic to stay on track. Before committing to a program, evaluate your learning style and preferences to ensure EOU's online offering suits your needs.
