Hi everyone, I'm interested in playing football when I go to college. I was looking at Cal State East Bay and couldn't find much info on their football program. Do they have a team? If so, how competitive is it, and what's the team culture like?
Cal State East Bay does not currently have a football team. They discontinued their football program back in the early 1990s due to financial constraints. However, the University offers other varsity sports, club sports, and intramural sports that you can participate in during your college experience. If you are set on playing football in college, you would want to explore options at other universities that have active football programs and offer the academic programs you are interested in.
