Vanderbilt University is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville is the state capital and a vibrant city known for its thriving music scene, especially in country music. Aside from music, the city offers a wide range of cultural attractions, dining options, and outdoor activities.

In terms of campus life, Vanderbilt has a beautiful, park-like campus spanning over 330 acres and is situated about a mile and a half southwest of downtown Nashville.
