Competitive SAT scores for Pepperdine?

I've always been a fan of Pepperdine's campus and academic programs. I'm curious about what SAT scores I should aim for to have a good shot at getting in. Any advice?

Pepperdine University is indeed known for its beautiful campus and strong academic programs. As you're interested in learning what SAT scores are competitive for admissions, let me provide you with some general guidance.

First, it's important to remember that Pepperdine, like many other schools, practices a holistic admissions process, meaning that your test scores are only one part of your application. Other factors, such as your GPA, extracurriculars, and essays, are also taken into consideration.

With that being said, it's still helpful to know where your SAT scores might stand in comparison to admitted students. According to most recent data available, the middle 50% of admitted students at Pepperdine had SAT scores between 1350 and 1440. This means that 25% of admitted students had scores below 1350 and 25% had scores above 1440.

To be competitive, you should aim for a score within or above that middle 50% range. Ideally, a score of 1440 or above would put you in a strong position among applicants. However, don't forget that your application will be evaluated comprehensively. So, if your test scores fall slightly below this range but other parts of your application are strong, you might still have a solid shot at getting accepted.

Good luck with your application and preparations for the SAT!
