MIT ACT score range?

Hey guys, I'm really interested in applying to MIT next year, and I've been trying to find out their average ACT score range. So, does anyone know the average ACT score for admitted students or a ballpark range they typically accept?

MIT is a highly competitive school, and the students they admit generally have strong test scores. Based on the most recent admissions data, the middle 50% ACT score range for admitted students at MIT is between 34 and 36. This means that 25% of the admitted students scored below a 34, while another 25% scored a perfect 36.

Keep in mind, though, that standardized test scores are just one component of your application. MIT evaluates applicants holistically, considering factors such as your transcript, extracurricular involvement, essays, and letters of recommendation. High test scores can help your application, but they're not a guarantee of admission. On the other hand, if your ACT score is on the lower end of the range, you could still be a competitive applicant if you excel in other areas.

So, while it's helpful to be aware of the average ACT score range at MIT, also focus on strengthening the other aspects of your application. Good luck!
