UNC Charlotte Typical ACT Scores

Hi everyone! I'm applying to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte soon and was really curious to find out what the typical ACT scores look like for admitted students. I scored a 28, and I'm not sure if that's strong enough? Any insights would be super helpful!

Hey! Congrats on your ACT score! A 28 is quite strong. To give you some perspective, in recent years, the middle 50% of admitted students at UNC Charlotte have typically had ACT scores ranging between 21 and 28. This means that 25% of admitted students score below 21 and another 25% score above 28. Since your score falls within the upper end of this range, it should be competitive for admission.

Of course, it's important to remember that the admissions process considers various aspects of your application, including your GPA, course rigor, extracurricular activities, and essays. Ensure you have a well-rounded application to increase your chances of being admitted.

UNC Charlotte may also provide opportunities for scholarships based on ACT scores. With a 28, you may be eligible for some awards, so be sure to look into the university's scholarship offerings as well.

Best of luck with your application!
