Ohio State University ACT scores needed?

Hey folks, I'm trying to figure out my chances of getting into Ohio State University. Can anyone let me know the average ACT scores for OSU admissions? I'm taking the test this year and want to make sure I set a good target score for myself.

Hey there! When looking at Ohio State University's average admitted student ACT scores, it's important to keep in mind that these are just general guidelines. That being said, for the recent entering class, the middle 50% ACT score range was between 28 and 33. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below a 28, while another 25% scored above a 33.

Aiming for a score within or above this range can help increase your chances of admission, but remember that Ohio State, like many universities, considers various factors beyond just test scores during the admissions process. In addition to your ACT score, they'll be evaluating the rigor of your high school coursework, your GPA, extracurricular involvement, recommendation letters, essays, and other factors to gain a holistic understanding of your application.

So, while targeting a competitive ACT score is a great goal, don't forget to focus on cultivating a well-rounded application as well. Good luck with your test preparations and future application!
