UNC Chapel Hill ACT Scores

Hey friends! I'm in the process of applying to the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and I'm trying to gauge my chances. What are the usual ACT scores of admitted students? I got a 32, but I'm not sure if that's good enough for Chapel Hill. What do you think?

Hello! It's essential to evaluate your ACT score within the context of what UNC Chapel Hill typically expects of its admitted students. According to the most recent data, the middle 50% ACT scores for admitted students at Chapel Hill range from 30 to 34. This means that 25% of students score below 30, and another 25% score above 34.

With your score of 32, you're right in the middle of that range, which is a good position to be in. While the test score alone doesn't guarantee admission, it definitely aligns with the scores of other students that Chapel Hill has accepted in the past. Admission to the university is holistic, so make sure to focus on other areas of your application like grades, extracurricular activities, recommendation letters, and personal essays.

As long as you showcase a strong overall application, your 32 on the ACT shouldn't hold you back at UNC Chapel Hill. Good luck with the application process!
