Do Ivy League schools have Greek life on campus?

Hello! I'm a junior researching colleges, and I really like the idea of being a part of Greek life. I was wondering if Greek life is common at Ivy League schools or is it something that they don't emphasize? Thank you!

Hi there! It's great that you're looking into colleges and considering Greek life as a part of your college experience. To answer your question, yes, Ivy League schools do have Greek life on campus, although the presence and culture can vary a lot between schools.

For example, at Dartmouth College, Greek life plays a significant role in the social scene, with almost half the student body joining fraternities and sororities. At other schools, like Harvard and Columbia, the Greek life scene may be less visible or encompass a smaller percentage of the student body.

That being said, Greek life at Ivy League schools might be different from what people typically imagine at large state schools. It's important to research and visit campuses (if possible) before making a decision.
