Are AP scores of 4 considered good enough by Ivy League schools?

Hey everyone, I got a couple of 4's on my AP exams and am concerned if it would hurt my chances of getting into Ivy League schools. What are your thoughts?

Hey there! AP scores of 4 are generally considered good, as they show you have a solid understanding of the subject matter. However, it's important to remember that Ivy League schools have a holistic approach to admissions, which means they'll look at more than just your AP scores when making a decision.

While it's true that some students admitted to these highly selective schools may have a majority of 5's on their AP exams, others may have a mix of 4's and 5's, or even some 3's. Your academic performance, extracurricular activities, essays, and recommendations will also play a significant role in the admissions process. So, while having a few 4's on your AP exams should not hurt your chances, it's essential to make sure you're presenting a strong application overall. Focus on showcasing your strengths and passions in other areas, as well. Good luck with your applications!
