ACT Writing duration?

Hi fellow test-takers, I'll be sitting for the ACT with Writing this year and was wondering, how long is the ACT Writing section and how should I pace myself during that portion?

The ACT Writing section is 40 minutes long. During this time, you'll be asked to write an essay in response to a given prompt, which typically requires evaluating multiple perspectives on a complex issue and suggesting your own point of view.

To pace yourself effectively during the ACT Writing section, consider the following strategy:
