How to retrieve old ACT scores?

Hey, I took the ACT a few years ago and I'd like to view my old scores. Are there any steps I need to take to access them? Is there a certain website or portal I should use?

To retrieve your old ACT scores, you'll want to follow these steps:

1. Visit the ACT website: Go to act.org and click on the "Sign In" button in the top right corner. If you have an existing account, log in using your credentials. If you don't have an account or can't remember your login information, you may need to create a new account or recover your old one using the "Forgot Your Password" option.

2. Access your scores: Once you're logged in, click on "Your Test Dates and Scores" to view your available test dates. If your scores are from the past two years, they should be available online. You'll be able to see a list of your past test dates, and you can click on each date to view the scores.

3. Request archived scores: If your ACT scores are more than two years old, they might be archived, and you'll need to request them from ACT. To do this, you can fill out their Archived Score Report Request Form. Keep in mind that there may be a fee associated with retrieving archived scores. Additionally, processing these requests can take several weeks.

4. Verify your identity: When requesting archived scores, you'll need to provide some verification information, such as your ACT ID, full name, date of birth, the year you took the test, and the name and address of the high school you attended at the time.

Once you've submitted the form and paid the required fee, you'll receive your old ACT scores via mail or email, depending on the delivery method you selected during the request process. Remember to allow a few weeks for processing and delivery.
