I want to challenge myself by working on some difficult math problems. Can anyone recommend resources or websites with math problems that are notoriously hard to solve? I'm looking for something that'll really make me think. Thanks!

You're up for a challenge, that's great! There are a variety of websites and resources that offer difficult math problems to push your limits. Here's a list with a brief description of resources that you might find useful:

1. The Art of Problem Solving (AoPS): AoPS is a well-known resource for students interested in competitive math, as well as for those looking for challenging math problems. They offer textbooks, online classes, and a vibrant community forum where you can discuss and solve problems with other math enthusiasts.

2. Project Euler: Project Euler is a collection of challenging math problems that require creative problem-solving, analytical skills, and programming skills to solve. They have problems of varying difficulty levels, so you'll always find something to fit your level.

3. International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) Problems: IMO is considered the most prestigious math competition for high school students worldwide. You can find problem sets and solutions from past years on their official website. These problems require advanced mathematical skills but will provide a great challenge.

4. Putnam Competition Problems: William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition is a prestigious university-level math competition in the United States and Canada. You can find past problem sets and solutions on their official website. These problems are known to be extremely challenging and will put your skills to the test.

5. American Mathematical Society (AMS) Math Forum: AMS hosts a math forum where they post 'Problem of the Week' and 'Challenge of the Month' problems alongside their solutions. These problems usually cover a wide range of mathematical topics and vary in difficulty.

6. Brilliant.org: Brilliant is an online platform that offers advanced math and science courses, as well as practice problems and quizzes in various domains. Some of their content is free, while other resources require a subscription. It's a great way to find engaging problems to solve.

Remember, it's essential to put in consistent effort to see improvement with challenging math problems. Good luck, and have fun solving these problems!
