SAT requirement for OSU?

I'm considering applying to Oregon State University (OSU) and I'm wondering if they require the SAT for their application process. Are they a test-optional school or do I need to submit standardized test scores?

Oregon State University (OSU) is a test-optional school for the 2024-2025 application cycle, so you have the choice to submit SAT or ACT scores as part of your application if you feel they will enhance your chances of admission. If you choose not to submit test scores, your application will still be considered holistically based on other factors like your GPA, course rigor, extracurricular activities, and so on.

Ultimately, it's up to you whether you want to submit your scores or not. If you believe your scores are strong and will positively contribute to your application, you can include them. However, if you feel that your scores might not accurately represent your academic abilities, you don't need to submit them.

For more detailed guidance on how to navigate test-optional policies, and whether submitting test scores would be a good idea for you personally, check out this blog post from CollegeVine: https://blog.collegevine.com/does-test-optional-mean-test-optional/.
