UConn SAT score info?

Hello everyone! Do any of you have information on the average SAT scores for admitted students at the University of Connecticut? I have an SAT score of 1380 and I'm wondering if that's within their typical range, or if I should consider retaking it to boost my chances of admission.

Hello! The University of Connecticut (UConn) is a moderately selective public university, and your 1380 SAT score falls within the typical range for admitted students. For the most recent class, the middle 50% of accepted students had SAT scores between 1220 and 1440. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 1220, and 25% scored above 1440. Your 1380 SAT score puts you comfortably within this range, and it should be competitive for UConn.

While your current SAT score is good enough, if you believe you can improve it substantially, you can consider retaking the test to increase your chances of admission and possibly qualify for merit-based scholarships. However, remember that UConn also takes into account other aspects of your application such as your grades, course rigor, extracurricular activities, and essays.

Ultimately, it's up to you whether to retake the test, but as it stands, your 1380 SAT score should be competitive at UConn. Ensure that you're focusing on other aspects of your application to create a well-rounded and compelling profile. Good luck with your college application process!
