Total number of questions on the ACT?

I'm getting ready to take the ACT and I'm curious about the number of questions I'll need to answer. Can anyone help me out with this info?

Sure! On the ACT, you'll need to answer a total of 215 questions, distributed across four sections:

1. English: 75 questions in 45 minutes.

2. Math: 60 questions in 60 minutes.

3. Reading: 40 questions in 35 minutes.

4. Science: 40 questions in 35 minutes.

In addition to these four sections, there's an optional Writing test, which consists of a single essay prompt. If you choose to take the Writing test, you'll have 40 minutes to complete your essay. Keep in mind that some colleges may require or recommend the Writing test, so make sure to check the requirements for the colleges you're interested in applying to. Good luck with your preparation!
