Is the Common App free?

Hi everyone, I'm starting to work on my college applications and had a question. Is using the Common Application actually free? And if not, is there a way to get fee waivers if you can't afford the application fees?

The Common Application itself is free to use as a platform for submitting college applications. However, most colleges and universities do charge an application fee when you submit your application through the Common App. These fees can vary, typically ranging from $30 to $90 per school.
