Lehigh SAT score ranges?

Hey guys, I'm starting to look into colleges and have been pretty interested in Lehigh. I was just wondering if anyone knew the average SAT score range for accepted students or any insights into how much weight they put on test scores? Thanks!

Hello! Lehigh University is a great school to consider. To give you an idea of its admissions profile, the middle 50% SAT score range for enrolled students is around 1370-1480. This means that 25% of enrolled students have scores below 1370, and another 25% have scores above 1480. While these numbers can be helpful, it's essential to remember that Lehigh uses a holistic admissions approach, which means they evaluate a variety of factors in addition to test scores.

While test scores are an important part of your application, Lehigh will also take into account other components such as your GPA, course rigor, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation. If your SAT score falls outside the middle 50% range, don't worry too much. A strong application in other areas can still make you a competitive candidate.

To gauge the strength of your overall application, I recommend using CollegeVine's free admissions calculator: https://www.collegevine.com/admissions-calculator. It'll give you accurate, personalized odds of acceptance, as well as highlighting strengths of your application, and places it can still be improved. Even if your test scores aren't the strongest they could be, you can boost your application in other ways.

That being said, it's always good to have a test score in the ballpark of the published range, as it can increase your chances of admission. If you have the time and ability to do so, consider studying to retake the SAT to improve your score. Good luck with your college search and the application process!
