What's the format of the AP Calc BC test?

Hey, so I'm taking AP Calculus BC this year, and I'm a bit curious about the test format. Can anyone please break it down for me? What's the split between multiple-choice and free-response questions? Appreciate the help!

The AP Calculus BC Exam consists of two sections, with each section accounting for 50% of the final score. Here's the breakdown of each section:

Section 1: Multiple Choice

- This section consists of 45 questions and lasts for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

- Within this section, there are two parts:

1. Part A: You'll have 60 minutes to complete 30 questions. Calculator use is not permitted during this part.

2. Part B: You'll have 45 minutes to complete 15 questions. Use of a graphing calculator is required during this part.

Section 2: Free Response

- This section features 6 questions that you have 1 hour and 30 minutes to answer.

- Similar to the multiple-choice section, there are also two parts within this section:

1. Part A: Consisting of 2 problems that must be completed within 30 minutes. Use of a graphing calculator is required during this part.

2. Part B: The remaining 4 problems must be completed within 60 minutes, and calculator use is not allowed.

Keep in mind that not all questions on the exam will cover BC-specific content. Roughly 60% of the exam focuses on AB topics, while the remaining 40% is dedicated to BC topics. Preparing well in advance and practicing past exam questions can help you improve your understanding and performance on the test. Good luck!
