The SAT has two sections: Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) and Math. Each section is scored on a scale of 200 to 800, making a total score range of 400 to 1600. Questions you answer correctly will increase your score, while wrong answers will not penalize you; therefore, it's always better to guess rather than leave questions blank if you're unsure of the answer.
