Smith College average GPA?

Hey guys! I'm seriously considering Smith College for my college applications, and I am curious about their GPA expectations. What is the average GPA for admitted students at Smith? Is it pretty competitive or are they more flexible in terms of GPA?

Hey! Smith College is a competitive liberal arts college, and they do have relatively high GPA expectations. Although they don't specifically list an "average" GPA for admitted students, most have a GPA of at least 3.75.

Keep in mind that Smith College does have a holistic admissions approach, which means they consider other factors like extracurricular involvement, essays, and recommendations in addition to GPA. While GPA does play an important role in the evaluation process, it's not the sole determining factor. So, even if you have a GPA above 3.75, don't neglect these other areas, while on the flip side, if you have a slightly lower GPA, you can sometimes compensate for that with strengths in some other aspect of your application.
