The middle 50% range for SAT scores is 1390-1540, and for the ACT, it's 31-35. Generally, scoring within or above this range would make you more competitive.
3. High school course requirements:
- 4 units of English
- 4 units of mathematics (including algebra, geometry, and precalculus or higher)
- 4 units of science (including two units with a lab component)
- 3 units of social studies
- 2 units of the same foreign language
- 0.5 unit of health and 0.5 unit of physical education
Optional but recommended:
- 2 additional units of the same foreign language or American Sign Language
- 2 rigorous elective units (preferably in math, science, and related subjects)
