SAT old and new conversion - where can I find info?

Hey guys, my sister took the old SAT a few years ago and I recently took the new one, and I wanted to compare our scores. Is there any resource or conversion tool that I can use to compare the scores between the old and new SAT versions?

You can use the College Board's concordance tables to compare scores between the old and new versions of the SAT. The College Board provides a concordance table that converts scores from the old SAT (scores on a 2400-point scale) to the new SAT (scores on a 1600-point scale).

Here's a brief overview of how to use the concordance table. Locate your new SAT score on the appropriate column, then find the corresponding old SAT score in the adjacent column. Similarly, you can locate your sister's old SAT score and find her equivalent new SAT score.

You can access the College Board's concordance tables by visiting their website and searching for "SAT concordance tables" or "SAT score concordance." Remember that these conversions may not be precise, and the way colleges interpret scores may have changed. It's best to use the concordance tables for a general comparison rather than a definitive evaluation.

Keep in mind that the redesign of the SAT also modified the test components, so comparing individual section scores may not be as straightforward as comparing composite scores. However, using the concordance table will still give you an idea of how your and your sister's performances stack up against each other.
