Is a 33 ACT score potentially enough for an Ivy League school?

I recently got a 33 on my ACT, and I'm not sure if it's enough for Ivy League admissions. I have a great GPA, many extracurriculars, and good recommendations, but I'm worried about this score. Should I retake the ACT or is this enough for schools such as Penn or Brown?

First of all, congratulations on your 33 ACT score! That is a strong score and you should be proud of your accomplishment. It is important to remember that Ivy League schools have a holistic admissions process, which means they consider many aspects of your application, not just test scores.

While a 33 may be on the lower end of the range for some Ivy League schools, it is still within the realm of possibility to be admitted. Factors such as your GPA, extracurriculars, and recommendations also hold significant weight in the admissions process. In fact, many students with lower test scores have been admitted to Ivy League schools based on their other outstanding achievements and qualities.

If you feel confident in your extracurricular involvements, academic accomplishments, and overall application, it might not be necessary to retake the ACT. However, if you believe you can improve your score and have the time and resources to devote to preparing for another test, it could be worth considering. Ultimately, the decision is yours and should be based on what you feel would best represent your abilities and potential.
