Where to find AP Chemistry past exams?

Hey guys, I'm studying for the AP Chem exam and really want to get my hands on some past exams to practice with. Does anyone have any resources where I can find past exams - particularly, past multiple-choice questions? Thanks in advance!

Hey there! It's fantastic that you're looking to practice with past AP Chemistry exams. The College Board, which administers the AP exams, has some official released materials available for students to practice. Although they don't release an extensive collection of past exams, you can find some past exams or sample questions on their AP Chemistry Exam page (https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/courses/ap-chemistry).

Another valuable resource to consider is the past AP Chemistry exams released in their official course description, which you can find on the College Board website as well. These should provide you with a mix of multiple-choice and free-response questions.

In addition to official resources, there are unofficial sources where you can find practice multiple-choice questions. Some websites and forums compile questions from past exams or create practice questions based on the exam format. Just keep in mind that unofficial questions may not reflect the exact difficulty or style of the actual exam.

Textbooks specifically designed for AP Chemistry exam preparation can also be helpful. These often include practice exams with multiple-choice and free-response questions that closely resemble those on the actual exam. Some popular options are the Princeton Review, Barron's, and 5 Steps to a 5, which are available at bookstores and libraries.

Lastly, don't forget to make use of free response questions (FRQs), which are officially released by the College Board. Practicing FRQs will help you develop a solid understanding of the concepts and problem-solving skills needed for the AP Chemistry exam. Good luck with your studying!
