University of Georgia SAT scores

Hey, y'all! I'm applying to the University of Georgia and I was wondering what kind of SAT scores they typically look for. Any insights on what score range will give me a decent chance of acceptance? Thanks!

Hello! The University of Georgia (UGA) is a moderately selective public university. For the most recent admissions cycle, the middle 50% of admitted students had SAT scores ranging from 1230 to 1410. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 1230, while another 25% scored above 1410.

However, keep in mind that these numbers are just a guideline, and UGA's admissions process considers more than just test scores. They also evaluate your GPA, course rigor, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and essays. If your SAT score falls within or above the range mentioned above, you'll likely be a competitive candidate. But if your score is below that range, you can still be considered for admission if other parts of your application are strong.
