Hi everyone, I'm starting to study for the SAT, and I'd like to know how many questions the entire test has. Does anyone have a breakdown of the number of questions per section as well? Thanks a lot!
Hello! As of Spring 2024, the SAT has gone fully digital. With the change to a digital format, the structure of the test is now as follows:
The digital SAT is divided into two main sections: Reading and Writing, and Math. It consists of the following modules:
1. Reading and Writing: There are two 32-minute modules to complete 54 questions in total. This means you have about 71 seconds per question.
2. Math: There are two 35-minute modules to complete 44 questions in total. You'll have 96 seconds per question, or just a little over a minute and a half.
In summary, the digital SAT has a total duration of 134 minutes and comprises 98 questions. Good luck with your studying and preparation for the test!
