SAT Time Limits?

So I'm curious, how much time do they give you to take the SAT? Is it different for each section?

Yes, the time allotted for the SAT is indeed different for each section. As of Spring 2024, the SAT is fully digital, and the structure of the digital SAT is as follows:

1. Reading and Writing: There are two 32-minute modules, during which you need to complete a total of 54 questions. This means you have about 71 seconds per question.

2. Math: There are also two 35-minute modules for the math section, and you need to complete 44 questions in total. This gives you 96 seconds per question, or a little over a minute and a half.

The total duration of the digital SAT, including both sections, is 134 minutes to complete 98 questions. Keep in mind that there will be breaks between sections to help maintain focus throughout the test. Good luck with your SAT preparation!
